excelGOV Awards
The Awards for Excellence in digital government, excelGOV, are organized every two years by Red GEALC ( Inter-American Network of Digital Government) with the support of the IADB (Inter-American Development Bank) and the OAS (Organization of American States).
Each excelGOV edition allows for the recognition and systematization of the most transformative initiatives in this field carried out in Latin America and the Caribbean. The awards have their ninhth iteration in 2024 , in these two categories:
1- Cross-border digital services.
2 – Digital transformation.
Special mentions on (a) Open Data, (b) Gender Approach and (c) Emerging Technologies will be awarded amongst all candidates of the two categories.
Voting will take place during the VIII Ministerial Meeting on Electronic Government of the Americas and the XVIII Annual Meeting of Red Gealc (Brasilia, November 26th and 27th, 2022). The jury, as usual, are the delegations participating in the Ministerial Meeting, with one vote per country (the decisions of the jury are final).
The tool for the jury to vote shall be enabled at the beginning of the event, on November 26th, and closed this day at noon, with the awards being granted at the dinner that night.
